Sun Microsystems Java Site.  Sun invented Java!  This site contains some applets as well as documentation and the JDK.

JARS primarily a Java site, but the also have ActiveX, Java Script and perl script resources.  JARS rates Java applets to the the top 1%, 5% and 25% of all Java applets

Gamelan is a large collection of Java applets.  The applets are organized by the type of applet (business, multimedia etc.).
